Parents As Teachers
Parents as Teachers programs provide personal visits from a model certified parent educator, group connections with families, developmental screenings and connections to other resources to help families support their children in reaching success.

Countdown to Kindergarten
Connecting incoming students, their families, and their teachers through one-on-one visits to support transitioning into kindergarten.

Countdown to Kindergarten is a home visitation program that pairs families of rising kindergarteners with their future teachers.
Teachers complete six personal visits with the rising kindergarten student and their family during the summer, five in the family's home and a final visit in the kindergarten classroom.

PASOs
PASOs utilizes the Community Health Worker (CHW) model and nurtures grassroots leaders within communities called Promotores, or CHWs, that serve as trusted access points for others.n.

PASOs trains these grassroots leaders to navigate and connect individuals to appropriate resources. The CHW model helps amplify the voices and lived experiences of community members to inform the solutions and policies implemented that affect their lives.

Connected Families
Connected Families and it’s partners assists parents and caregivers in ending their involvement with child welfare and enhancing their parenting practices.
For now, only families referred by DSS are eligible to participate in this program.

Connected Families partners with Lexington County Department of Social Services to assist parents and caregivers with community support, promoting health & safety by enhancing their parenting practices.

To enroll in this program, you must be referred by Lexington County Department of Social Services.
Child Care Training
High-quality professional development offerings are certified through SC Endeavors and include topics in the areas of nutrition, health and safety, curriculum, child guidance, and program administration.

In South Carolina teachers and caregivers are required to complete 15 child-care training hours annually and center directors are required to complete 20 child-care training hours. The trainings we provide are tracked through the SC Endeavors Registry and meet state licensing standards.
